Tonight, my roommate and I have literally spent all day studying. Ever since I got back from class earlier, we have honestly been studying all day. I'm so ready for a break and I am beyond ready to have no responsibilities for a little while. Christmas break will be so nice. As long as I can make it through finals, haha. I don't know how much longer I can spend literally every second of my day looking at study guides or previous quizzes or doing homework. I'm so ready for break.
Yesterday, my friend and I took a break from studying and decided to take a trip to the mall. We went to the Tanger Outlet right near Grand Rapids, about 40 minutes away but it was well worth the drive. They have the best stores there, from H&M to Kate Spade and JCrew. It was a nice little stress reliever and break from studying. I'm freaking out about finals, so I needed something to take my mind off of school for just a little bit and that was the perfect place.

I am getting pretty anxious about my finals and last papers/projects over the next two weeks. As excited as I am to be back home for Christmas break, I feel crazy stressed for everything I need to get done. If I just manage my time well, I think I will be fine. But it's just the making myself sit down and get as much work done as possible. It definitely won't be fun, but as soon as I have everything done and turned in, I will feel so much better about everything.

Recently I've decided to officially move in with my best friend. I started out at Western by going in blind. And my best friend, Madi, and her friend were rooming together. Her friend ended up leaving the school two weeks in so I spent the majority of time over at Mads anyways. Things weren't really working out with my roommate at the time so I just decided to start living with Mads. Over the past couple weeks, we officially moved all of my stuff in and it's been the best decision of my college experience so far.

I'm so happy I was able to spend this past weekend at home with my family and friends. I loved seeing everyone, I loved eating delicious food, and I loved shopping all of the sales. Black Friday was craziness, but so much fun. I'm grateful for the amazing time my family and I had together. And over this break, I realized how thankful I am for the fact that all of my friends have stayed in touch. It was just a really great time. As much as I enjoyed being home though, it is nice to be back here as well.

It's finally Thanksgiving break and I couldn't be more relieved or excited. I feel like with all of this work and stress building up over the past few weeks, I am in need of a nice break. I have a feeling everyone is. I am super happy to go home and spend time with my family and friends. I love that everyone's going to be home. It's gonna be really nice to see people that I haven't seen since the summer. Don't get me wrong, I am loving college, but going home for a few days will be extremely nice.

I thought the logical fallacy assignment was kind of interesting to me. I thought it was fascinating how so many extremely experienced editorial writers had a few logical fallacies with in their pieces. You'd think that people writing that high up would be more skillful in that area and try to avoid those. I was just shocked that in just about any article I read, I was able to spot at least one. I will admit though, it is super hard to write without using those I have also realized.
